Jan. wrap up & What's up for Feb.
January wrap up -
I did the "Rainbow Book Cover Challenge" from At Random
The books I read for the challenge were -
~The Shadow of Your Smile (white)
~The Keeper (black)
~Addressing Spirits (brown)
~A Horse Called Trouble (blue)
~Love Lifted Me (green)
~Losing Clementine (yellow)
~Gospel Story Bible (purple)
~In Between (red)
~Vampire Shortstop (orange)
These are the books I have read during the month of Jan -
What's up for February - I know I am going to shock you here, but I am going to be reading all Love stories and Romance for the month of Feb. I have also decided to include Chick-Lit because that is all love and romance anyway too.
I do like a good love story hidden behind my books but have never really been into real "Romance".
I am actually really excited about this challenge! I have had the whole month of Jan. to plan and I have some really good books picked out that I am really excited to read!
This month's challenge comes from - ...the bookworm...
I am combining this with "Black History month" I will be doing -
This idea comes from - Reflections of a bookaholic

Well done you for dipping your toe into new waters! I never read romances and stuck to Literature for many years, but there comes a time when you want to test new avenues. So I tried some chick lit and actually had great fun! I have added Sarah Morgan and Trisha Ashley, Belinda Jones, and Cecelia Ahern to my Chick lit favorite Authors. Good luck with your venture. I can't wait to read your reviews. Hugs, Sally @ Enlightenment for the Sleepu xxx
ReplyDeleteYou know I have read a lot of Chick-Lit (one of my fav genre's) but have not read any of those Authors. I will have to look them up.
DeleteOoh! I am not much a reader of romance, so your plans for February excite and intrigue me. Now I will know which books to choose if I decide to pick up a romance!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I just realized my reply button finally works!!!!! It never did before!
DeleteHaha! I have a review coming up tomorrow that was a FABULOUS book! And I am very picky about my love stories!
Good luck!
ReplyDelete*sigh* I love me some Gerard Butler.
Hahaha yes, don't we all love Gerard Butler?
DeleteEspecially in P. S. I love you!!!!
You know I never read the book, just seen the movie.
I have PS I Love You (the book) but haven't read it yet. I've heard it's so much better than the movie.
ReplyDeleteAnd good for you for diving into romance! I <3 romance books but I'm guessing you knew that :)
Romance has just been kinda icky for me, LOL. Like I'm peeking when I shouldn't be peeking.
DeleteBut I think it will be OK if I just choose my books carefully. I have look for a good story line.
Wow! You did great in January! Love the colorful covers :)
ReplyDeleteI really liked the movie PS I Love You, I haven't gotten around to reading the book though. Do you think you'll be reading it for this challenge?
