ABOUT THE BOOK (from Goodreads)-
As Grace recovers from tragedy, her science class is chosen by Agent Sweeney at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to help with research on the new "Red Wolf Reintroduction Program".

While she’s excited about helping with the conservation of the endangered wolves, Grace knows this means being outdoors in the worst winter recorded, in a place she no longer feels comfortable. It also means working closely with Wyn (her ex) and his annoying girlfriend (Skyler), a girl whose idea of getting close to nature is picking silk plants and growing fake plants.

After a couple of wolves show up dead, Grace almost quits. However, when a fellow project team member goes missing, Grace continues the assignment under a renewed suspicion that someone might be sabotaging the conservation program. She quietly begins to hunt for clues.

Little does she know, she is being hunted too.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR -
When Shelli was younger, she spent all her time outdoors, hiking, camping and living the Girl Scout Way.
Somewhere along the way, she got away from nature and earned an MBA in Marketing, kicking off an 18-year marketing career in Corporate America.
Eventually, Shelli traded in her expensive suits, high heels, and corporate lingo for a family, flip-flops, and her love of writing. She started her own marketing & communications business, www.bilaninc.com, where she worked with Spanx, Goody Hair Products, Chick Filet, and the Boys & Girls Club of America.
In addition to juggling nap schedules and client meetings, Shelli focuses on her writing. She is a frequent speaker on marketing and book publicity at SCBWI conferences across the U.S, and runs a popular book marketing blog, Market My Words (www.faeriality.blogspot.com).
In her spare time (yeah right!) and if the kids allow (yeah right!), Shelli obsesses over movies, reads children’s books (over and over), and still dreams of sleeping in on the weekends. But most importantly, she is finally getting back to her roots by running her own Girl Scout Troop in Atlanta, helping girls get back to nature.
She currently lives in Atlanta with her dog (Charley), British-accented husband, and the huge imaginations of their little prince and princess that someday will change the world.

MY REVIEW -
This is the second book in the Nature of Grace series. The first book being - "Untraceable" which I read and reviewed - HERE. I did like the first book a little better, but both books are great .
Full of lots of outdoor action. If you are a lover of the great outdoors - a hiker, camper, explorer, an animal lover, or someone who just loves nature/action books, you will love this book.

Book 2 - "Uncontrollable" takes right off just shortly after the first book, so you have that feeling of continuation, like you haven't lost any time. There are a few reminders of what happened in "Untraceable" if you are forgetful like me (but in my opinion there were not enough reminders. I did get lost a few times, not remembering what had happened). Once I was refreshed and the story was under way I did really enjoy it!

I loved the way each chapter is labled with a survival tip number instead of chapter numbers - very creative.
Survival Tip #20
There is a simple method of handling an emergency situation.
Remember the acronym S.T.O.P. Sit - Think - Observe - Plan

The character development is great! As always - I loved Grace and Wyn (although Wyn was a little annoying at first, but then he came around). I felt like you were reading about typical teenagers. Well... typical smart outdoorsy teenagers (except for Skyler). I honestly loved all their bickering back and forth, it made it all more real. You can't get a bunch of teenagers together and not have fighting, teasing and flirting! So this part was done well.

I did guess a couple of the outcomes but hadn't guessed them all. There were a few surprises for me, as well as twists and turns in the storyline.

This was a very interesting book to read.  Shelli certainly did her homework on the wolf facts! -
"The Red Wolf is one of the most endangered species in the nation... The red wolf was pretty much demolished in the late 1960's."
"There has been only one red wolf attack on a human in more than 200 years."
One of my favorite lines from the book -
"There's only one thing worse that being in the woods with a boy who hates me as much as he hates foliage - spending time with Malibu Barbie Goes Camping, a girl whose only experience with nature is killing two silk plants and watering a cactus." - LOL of course she is talking about Skyler.
I think Grace would make a great leading lady. You know how I am always saying - "This book should be made into a movie" well - this series should be made into a TV series! I can totally see it on Fox Family or ABC Family.

THE ALL-IN-ALL -
All in all this was a great, interesting and exciting read! I don't remember there being any swearing and only a few stolen kisses here and there - so great for teens to read.
