MY REVIEW -

I had very mixed feelings about this book. Parts of it I  loved and parts I hated. For one thing, I hate the cover, I know, I know - don't judge a book by its cover. But I do and I almost turned this book down just based on the cover.

 

For the most part, this is a very sweet story, and very heartwarming. For a short Novella, it had a definite beginning, middle and end (some don't). I liked the flow of the story and I thought there was very good character development. It was touch and go there for a while, so some suspense. And I liked the ending!

What I didn't care for was the graphic sex scene right in the middle of my sweet inspirational story! Ick! Never has a scene felt so out of place for me. I was really surprised. In my opinion, I felt it did not belong in this story. I would have given this book 4 stars if it had not been for that. I know, I should have expected it based on the cover that I am not suppose to use to judge (LOL).

But... I did enjoy the rest of the story!
