An avid reader since childhood, Darlene loved to put a pencil to paper and plot out stories of her own. Thanks to the support of her family, Darlene has been able to fulfill her dream to write full time. Her debut novel, Keeping Secrets, has been receiving great reviews. Darlene can be found writing in her home office with the family dog lying close by.

MY THOUGHTS -

Another great read from this author. This is my third one by Darlene. She is a good solid romance writer and I always know I am going to enjoy it when I start one of hers.

I have always liked books about house renovations. Maybe its because my husband used to be a contractor so this has personal appeal to  me. I thought this part of the book was well done. It certainly kept me interested. Darlene does a good job with the descriptions so I can easily visulize everything.

I loved the two main characters - Katrina and Nick. The character development was very good. I thought they both were a bit on the stubborn side but that just added to the book.

Great storyline, great characters, nice, fun romance - a win/win!
