Frogs & French Kisses - Book review

4 stars

I read "Frogs and French Kisses" by Sarah Mlynowski. She is also the Author of "Milkrun" (a great Chick-Lit book). This is a YA (young adult) book about a 14 yr. old girl whose Mother and younger sister are both witches, and she, herself, is not. Her sister is using her powers to help "save the world" and her Mother is using her powers to "power date". All Rachel wants is to get her boyfriend back. Simple enough? Well, you would think.

This is an amusing, cute, sometimes funny, but simple book. I enjoyed it and was not sorry that I read it. It would actually make a great quick read for the next Read-a-thon (I will save it for my daughter). The character development was GREAT, excellent even! And even though it was a very simple YA read, the end did leave me wanting to read the next one. This book would be great for younger teen and pre-teen girls (no sex or swearing). There are lessons to be learned in this book and it teaches good morals and values. An all around good book!

I am still having problems with the follow button, just follow anyway you can if you can figure it out. I already have 14 followers in just one day, so some people are able to follow. Also please continue to update me as to the status of the fallow button for you. Just so I know.
The followers button and list of followers shows up for me everytime, sometimes it takes a few minutes to show up though.

  1. I'm going to tell my daughter about this one. She likes TV shows like "The Wizards of Waverly Place", I think she might like this one. She is always complaining how she can't find anything she likes to read.
