You've read The Glass Castle haven't you?!?
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of reading to do :)
ReplyDeleteOh YEAH! Thanks, Shanyn, skipped that one, fixed now.
ReplyDeleteI have read:
ReplyDelete34. The Lovely Bones, Alice Sebold (2002)
48. The Poisonwood Bible, Barbara Kingsolver (1998) This is a great book.
92. Presumed Innocent, Scott Turow (1987)
Didn't do so great either.
Mom
I didn't do well either. Only three. I do have many of the others on Mount To-Be-Read. Thanks for posting this.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done that well either, but so far:
ReplyDeleteThe Road (fantastic!)
Beloved (difficult but important read)
The Handmaid's Tale (fantastic!)
The Lovely Bones (very good)
The Poisonwood Bible (reading right now)
The Corrections(overrated)
A Prayer for Owen Meany (actually never finished this one, snooze in my opinion)
Atonement (overrated)
The DaVinchi Code (good for what it is)
America (very funny)
I've only read 8 - glad to see The Glass Castle and The Kite Runner on there - I loved those. Was not expecting Eat, Pray, Love to fall on that list...
ReplyDeleteI've read twelve. I have some of those on my wish list, and there are some that I know I'll never read because I'm just not interested in them.
ReplyDeleteWhoops, missed Fast Food Nation. Read that one too. Very interesting and informative page turner.
ReplyDeleteOOhh this is a list I've been looking for! I have the BBC one but it's very dated. I was wondering about all the 'new classics' that must be out there somewhere. It's a great way to find books for my TBR shelf.
ReplyDeleteI've read 21.
Wow! Trish, 21, I think that's a record!
ReplyDeleteI've read 20 books off the list. There's a few books on it that I already have on my tbr list. Thanks for posting the list for all of us to see.
ReplyDeleteI've read 13. Doesn't sound too bad until I think 13...out of 100!!!
