Sue Ellen's Girl Ain't Fat, She Just Weighs Heavy - By Shellie Rushing Tomlinson

5 STARS!!!!!
About the book -
Guided by principles from the ancient Belle Doctrine, the host of radio and television's All Things Southern offers down-home advice on everything from health and fitness-managing thy caloric calculations without going Straight Running Crazy and surviving the Raging Inferno Syndrome (aka hot flashes)-to the Southern art of handling your man (Bubba Whispering). Whether giving business tips or debunking the Big Boned Theory, making political observations or celebrating the inevitable resurgence of big hair, Shellie is an adviser women can relate to and laugh with regardless of their age or which side of the Mason-Dixon they call home.

About Shellie -

Shellie is the author of Lessons Learned on Bull Run Road, Twas the Night Before the Very First Christmas, Southern Comfort with Shellie Rushing Tomlinson, and the Penguin Group USA release, Suck Your Stomach In and Put Some Color On, voted Nonfiction Finalist of 2009 by SIBA Independent Booksellers Alliance.

My Review -
This book is absolutely hilarious! Laugh-out-loud-tears-down-your-face-funny! At one point I found myself laughing so hard with tears running down my face that I couldn't hardly answer the phone when it rang. Then I started telling the person on the other end of the line all about the book. The big question is - How did I miss the first book (Suck Your Stomach In & Put Some Color On)? Now I am gonna have to look that one up. Ladies! and I say ladies because men just can't appreciate this kind of funny, you do not want to miss this one! If you follow everything in Shellie's book you are guaranteed a happier, easier, and all round better life (if not funnier)!
"Dear readers, let it be known that even a white dress on a used bride is preferable to a sheer dress on a new one. That's  correct. Reread it if you have to, I'll wait. It's possible that one of the craziest fashion trends I've ever uncovered out of the halls of high fashion is the sheer wedding dress...
...Girls, if ever there was a time and place to leave something to the imagination, it's when you're parading down the aisle in front of God and everybody...
...'naked comes the bride" just doesn't have the right ring to it."
"It says right here that scientists have invented self-cleaning underwear. ...
... They're saying it will save time. Please. I'm as busy as a cat in a roomful of rocking chairs myself, but really, how long does it take to slip on some new drawers? ...
... article says dirt and liquids just bead up and roll off...
... beading up and rolling off! Excuse me?! And where does it go exactly? And how are we suppose to avoid stepping in it - or worse, sitting in it?"
Thank you thank you thank you Litfuse for sending me this book to review! I honestly do not know how I ever got this far in life and marriage without it!
