Whether they're looking for a quick answer to a specific problem or a
complete course in knitting in the round, knitters of all levels and
interests will find Circular Knitting Workshop to be a reliable, frequently used companion.
This book looks like a real good book for beginners and for people who have never knitted in the round before. It has real good instructions, diagrams, and pictures. There are also some real nice patterns in the back - sweaters, vests, mittens and gloves, socks, and lots more. Also she explains different techniques - magic loop method, using more than one color, using double and circular needles, Kitchner stitch, and sooo much more! This book would be a grat
basic tool and reference for new knitters. I highly recommend it!

Christmas has always been special to cake decorator Mattie Eash, who was born on the wondrous holiday.
Yet the season has lost its appeal in the three years since then, her childhood sweetheart abruptly ended their engagement on Christmas Eve. Mattie has moved on, left Apple Ridge, Pennsylvania and pursued her dreams of a cake shop in Berlin, Ohio and given her heart to someone new. Someone unlike Gideon Beiler. Someone safe.
Then an unforeseen setback forces her home and into painful proximity to Gideon. Will learning the truth behind his rejection restore her Christmas joy—or open the door to even deeper heartbreak?
This book was OK, it was sweet, a nice clean Amish book. Normally I love Cindy Woodsmall and have always rated her books very high. This one was just a little slow for me. It was nicely done. It had great Characters. For some reason this time I really connected with the male character of Gideon, I really loved him and felt sorry for him at times. I kept want him to get his emotion act together and go get the girl!
