MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!
This will be my last post till after Christmas. I hope everyone has a great Christmas and is celebrating for the right reasons. Of course being a Christian, I will be celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ! Woo Hoo!
Here are my plans for Christmas, What are yours?
The Daughter has to work Christmas day (can you say - OVERTIME PAY!)
So I am doing Christmas with her on Christmas eve. I will make a big dinner with a bottle of wine, then open gifts, make an evening of it.
The Hubby has to stay in PA, so Christmas day I am getting up insanely early to drive down there to spend a few days with him.
I will make him a big dinner Christmas night and open our gifts.
I am taking all the gifts with me, taking the stockings, I am even taking the Tree!!! (He doesn't know this!)
I will set everything up while he is at work, when he comes home to his Apt. he will be surprised!
I am also taking Christmas cookies!
I have two friends in PA - Jen - "At Random" lives in Harrisburg (1 hr. from Glen's) she is driving up to his place on Mon. and we will spend the day together! She is the one who came up with her husband in the fall. It will be so fun to get to see her again!
Another friend lives about an hour away too and we will get together for lunch on Tues.
I will have no trouble finding stuff to do and keeping myself busy because I LOVE the town where Hubby stays!!!!
Then I am coming home ( prob. Thur. but totally depends on Hubby's schedule and if he is actually at the apt.).
On Friday I am getting together with and old friend of mine, whom I have not seen in about a year!
Phew! You think I'll be well rested? Well at least I will be having fun!
~Hugs and kisses, Wendy

Merry Christmas Wendy,
ReplyDeleteI loved you post, especially ur plans to meet up with ur DH and bring him Christmas. It says a lot about you and how you live your life! I can't believe another year is almost ending. Lot of people have been tweeting about taking down their trees, but no me. We have the second longest Christmas in the world, Philippines has the longest they start in October. So, we milk it for all it's worth. I hope all is well and wish you the best life has to offer. I enjoy our chats and love visiting your site, it always leaves me in deep thought. Bless you and yours and have a wonderful New Years.
Hugs,
Dana
