Fun Friday!
Here are a few wonderful things I received this week from some great friends -
I won this book from "Chick Lit is Not Dead", This blog is awesome, hilarious, and Liz and Lisa are great Authors - I have read both of their books. They do a lot of giveaways on their blog, so check them out.
My wonderful friend Vonnie - "Vonnie's Reading Corner" sent me this beautiful blank book! She is awesome isn't she? It is so great to have booky friends. Now I have to think of something fun or wonderful to do with this book - now taking suggestions.
I received this book from "Litfuse Puplicity" for review. I will be reviewing it the week of July 17th.
I received this book from "Librarything Early Reviewers" to review in Aug. (my beach month).
I have 2 of these books to give away!
I received this book from the Author - Lisi Mayer. I will be reviewing this one in Sept. during my "Where in the World?" month. I couldn't resist, so I read a couple chapters and... Oh my gosh! its so good! I will have 2 books to give away!
And - Hahaha this doesn't look like much but of it was!
I received this from my very good friend and best blogger buddy - Jen "At Random".
This is a "Incase of Vampire attack" kit, so adorable! And so appropriate since I am reading a Witch/Vampire book now! And this may look like an empty container but it was filled with delicious homemade peanut butter fudge! As you can see, I ate it all! She also gave me a bunch of k-cup coffee - one of my favs - Caramel Vanilla.
I also decided to do this today -
Crazy-for-Books is running this Book Blogger Hop to help connect book bloggers with other fellow book bloggers. Here's this week's question:
Do you have a keeper shelf for books you loved? What books are on that shelf and why?
I have a lot of "keeper books" and many shelves, LOL. I like to have collections of books.
Here are just a few -
I have my Alaska collection (any book having to do with Alaska).
My Maine collection (anything having to with Maine).
My Ted Dekker collection - 7 books so far
Stephanie Grace Whitson collection - 19 books! I think I have everything she has written so far!
Max Lucado collection - 13 books
Memoirs by famous people I love - Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Janet Jackson, Trace Adkins, Shania Twain, Sarah Palin, Janette Walls.
A few series I loved - Hex Hall series, Casting Spells series, LA Candy series
And those are just to name a few! I have a lot more keeper books.

DeleteI just bought "The Fame Game" which is abut Madison, remember her from the first book?
I don't know if it is the start of a new series or a 4th book.
I enjoyed reading about what books you keep and browsing your blog. I am now a new follower. We have some of the same tastes in books. I invite you to visit my blog to see my list. Here is a link: http://griperangsbookmarks.blogspot.com/

I consider every book that I have read a keeper book whether I liked it or not. This is how I got to 2,300 books in my living room. It's an addiction.
ReplyDeleteI love books based in Alaska! We're going to try to take an alaskan cruise next year! **Fingers crossed**
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the fudge, it's the only kind I make so it was just luck that it's your fav :)
