Fun Friday!

Whenever people talk about collecting bookmarks I have to laugh. I always tell people that I probably have over 100 (without counting) One of these days I am going to count.
Here are some pics. of my bookmark collection -
 Wood, leather, silk, and jeweled!
 Homemade ones
Store bought ones
 Author ones (many signed)
 Advertising ones
New ones and old ones
And a few postcards

And that is just a small sample of my collection!
Do you think I need anymore - YES!

  1. Good idea to collect them. I have many scattered around and should really find a place for them!

    1. Absolutely! They are easy to collect - they don't take up too much room.
I like the idea of ribbons too.

  5. Wow, that's a lot. I tend to keep only my favorite ones and give away the rest. Gifted ones by family or friends I always keep; these are rare though because they rather me books than bookmarks lol.

    1. I do give a lot away too! Really the ones I am showing is only a small portion of what I actually have. Call it an obsession!

  7. Amongst my stack I have a couple of treasured ones - a quite ragged cross stitch one that my daughter made for me at school and another one she made with some pressed flowers and the inscription 'My First Book Murk' (no - that is not a typo! ) She is now a grown up woman and an avid reader just like her mum!
