The Holistic Way - Self-Healing with the Nadi Technique, by Billy Roberts

4 Stars!

ABOUT THE BOOK -
The Holistic Way introduces the Nadi Technique, a simple and effective holistic system that supports optimum health of body, mind, and spirit. This program for self-healing encourages movement of in-flowing energy, or prana, through the network of channels called nadis that permeate the subtle anatomy. Using specific pressure points, meditation, visualization, and affirmations, the Nadi Technique is designed to help you cultivate positive thinking, culminating in a healthy mind and body.

In this easy-to-follow handbook, you’ll learn how to fine-tune your energy body, how food affects the chakras, and how magnets, color, music, chanting, and vibration can be used for increased wellness. Delve into ancient spiritual principles and universal laws—such as the Law of Attraction and the Law of Karma—and discover how to fulfill your desires; attract good health, success, and happiness; and find peace and harmony within.

MY REVIEW -
This book has a lot of information! In a way it is like taking a beginners class to Holistic health.
If you don't already know this about me - I am very much a firm believer in Holistic and natural healing. For me it all started when my daughter was only a few weeks old. I had just left my husband, baby in tow, and moved back to NY a single mother. After only a couple weeks she came down with a severe ear infection. I took her to "the best local doctor", waited in the waiting room with a screaming infant for 90 min! Then spent a total of 30 seconds with the Dr. She walked in looked at her ear and wrote a prescription. That was it. She didn't ask me any questions, didn't offer any advise, nothing! I decided right then and there that there had to be a better way. And there was!
I started studying up on natural healing (using homeopaths and herbs). I took a few classes an making your own medicine using herbs, bought a bunch of books. I was like a sponge! And since then - my daughter (now 24) has almost never been to the Dr. and I can count the number of times I have been in 20 yrs. on one hand (usually only for physicals). So I am telling you that my daughter and I are living proof that this can work!

This book takes you step by step through fine tuning your body, food and nutrition, exercise, music, relaxation, how to relieve stomach pain and head aches, and so much more! For me, I already knew a lot of this stuff, but it is a great reference book to keep on hand! For a beginner this would be a great book. It really takes you through everything and explains very well the whys and hows.
So if you have been interested in holistic and not sure how and where to start, this book would be a great place.

He didn't even look at me.
Turns out I had something completely different and the prescription he gave me made it worse.
I'm totally curious what you did for your daughter's ear infection.
