MY REVIEW -
I was so excited when I saw this bible! I think they should take off the "for teens" because this bible is for everyone! I think this is a great bible for new Christians and for anyone who just wants a fresh new look.
I love that it is very generic looking making it great for male or female readers. I also love the feel of the cover. It is textured and feels good in your hand. I also think it is a really good size. I know these things might seem silly but it is the little things that you end up loving!
What turned me on right away -
The books of the Bible are written on the side of the pages, making it easy to flip through and know where you are.
I love the colors the choose to use - oranges and browns, again - good for male and female alike.
I love the "special features", the Flashpoint is great, kind of like a little helpful extra.
Also White hot topic! Which helps you to relate God's word to today.
This bible is fun, exciting, interesting (Imagine - a Bible that looks interesting!) and has a fresh modern look to it. And it is written in the NKJV making it easier to read and understand. I think it is great that they never stop trying to make God's word relevant for today and more fun and easier to read. I always thought "What good is the Bible to anyone if they can't understand it?" I think this is a Bible that any teen (or anyone for that matter) will definitely pick up and read.

Thank you Thomas Nelson "Booksneeze" for sending me this Bible to read and give an honest review!
Ooh, I should get this for my siblings. I've been trying to get them to read the Bible, but as teens, they don't really want to.
ReplyDeleteSounds great. I love having and trying different kinds and styles.
