The Boyfriend App - Katie Sise

4 Stars!

ABOUT THE BOOK -
In The Boyfriend App by Katie Sise, super-smart, somewhat geeky Audrey McCarthy can’t wait to get out of high school. Her father’s death and the transformation of her one-time BFF, Blake Dawkins, into her worst nightmare have her longing for the new start college will bring.

But college takes money. So Audrey decides she has to win the competition for the best app designed by a high schooler—and the $200,000 that comes with it. She develops something she calls the Boyfriend App, and suddenly she’s the talk of the school and getting kissed by the hottest boys around. But can the Boyfriend App bring Audrey true love?

MY REVIEW -
Cute cute cute! Well this book was not what I expected. It actually had a little more meat to it than I thought it would! This was not your typical story about dumb teenage girls trying to get guys to notice them. Its about smart teenage girls trying to get guys to notice them ! LOL  :-)  Well smart girls like guys too and they deserve to get hot guys just as much as the dumb flirty blonds do. Hey wait, I'm blond!

They character development is great! I loved these kids! Audrey was awesome. She was smart, funny, cute, strong, and got her man! She was a great role model for your teen girls to fall in love with. I actually love books about computer geeks, and Audrey being a girl was just icing in the cake.

This is not a serious book, and it is a bit over the top. but if you are looking for a clean, fun, original, super cute book to read... well this is it!
Thanks to my friend Jen from "At Random" for lending me this book!
