 4.5 Stars!

ABOUT THE BOOK -
When seventeen-year-old Sia wakes up on a park bench, she has no idea who or where she is. Yet after a week of being homeless, she’s reunited with her family. At school, she’s powerful and popular. At home, she’s wealthy beyond her dreams. But she quickly realizes her perfect life is a lie. Her family is falling apart and her friends are snobby, cruel and plastic. Worse yet, she discovers she was the cruelest one. Mortified by her past, she embarks on a journey of redemption and falls for Kyle, the “geek” she once tormented. Yet all the time she wonders if, when her memories return, she’ll become the bully she was before…and if she’ll lose Kyle.

MY REVIEW -
Bravo! This book was definitely a "Wow!". I had chills and was in tears after only the first couple of chapters. This book has a lot to offer - it starts out very serious and kinda sad, then suddenly turn into "mean girls" then has a touching heartwarming end. So no matter what kind of book you like, there is something for you. I think this was a great YA story! It was clean and very creative. I do think teens will love it!
I also happen to love books about memory loss. I don't know why, I just do. And this one was done very well.
"In just one day I learned my friends are mean and shallow, my boyfriend is a jerk, my mother's an alcoholic, and the family is about to go bankrupt. A lot for a person to take in all at once... this is my life, for better or worse."
There was great character development! I absolutely loved Sia. How could you not fall in love with her? Even Kyle, whom I didn't really care for in the beginning I ended up loving in the end. One of my favorite characters was, Carol, an older homeless woman who befriends Sia and helps her. I even loved Sia's ditzy mean friends, because they were... perfectly ditzy and mean! These teen girls are so real the author could have plucked them out of any local high school. They are hilarious and the author got it spot on with the whole teen vibe!
"You're like Ken and Barbie. Only way cooler, you know?"
I think Josh definitely has a promising future as a YA author. I was captivated by Sia and her wonderful character.I am really looking forward to reading more from Josh!
