Mischief Under The Mistletoe - Jennifer Zane

4 Stars!

ABOUT THE BOOK -
Emma Hardy hasn't been able to forget Sam Carter, or his incredible kiss in the elevator. Sadly, he rocked her world (and her libido), then calmly walked away, quit his job, and disappeared for two months. Not exactly the hot kiss follow-up she'd been hoping for. But Sam was busy making plans. And now, thanks to a glued-together gnome name George, a set of handcuffs, mistletoe, and a meddling adult store cupid disguised as an eccentric but innocent grandmother, Emma's about to get the greatest Christmas gift of all...true love.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR -
Jennifer Zane has lived all over the country--from Georgia to Maryland, New York to Colorado, including an exciting five years in Montana. Her time in Big Sky country was the basis for this book. When she's not writing, she savors the insanity of raising two boys, is figuring out how many meals she can make with a pressure cooker, and teaches a pretty mean karate class. She currently lives with her family in Colorado.

MY REVIEW -
Oh my goodness, this is such a cute story! I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was fun, quirky, romantic, and a little bit naughty and sexy (but nothing too graphic, just the way I like them). It was a bit unbelievable, but it is a Christmas story! To be honest, that's the way I like them (that's why they call it fiction).

Real nice character development, I really liked Emma and her friends, I even liked Sam, but I especially liked Goldie who runs Goldilocks (an adult store), she was some spunky older lady!
All the characters were fun!

I could totally relate to this -
"... I was stuck behind one of those behemoth dump trucks with the big plow on the front, snow shooting off to the side of the road about fifteen feet in the air."  gotta love it! and I don't LOL

This was a very quick short story at only 25 pages... wait, is that right? Well it felt like more. There was nothing lacking in this short story.
It is a great quick read for Christmas.
