The Cupcake Diaries: Spoonful of Christmas - Darlene Panzera

4 Stars!

Andi, Rachel, and Kim each have their own reasons for wanting this Christmas at Creative Cupcakes to be special. Andi is scared that Jake's job offer with another newspaper will move them to a different state. Rachel, set to marry Mike on Christmas Eve, is afraid her cousin Stacey will ruin the wedding. Kim fears she'll never get a ring and Nathaniel will leave her after the holidays are over. What they didn't count on was having a modern-day Grinch try to steal Christmas away from them. Can they unmask the culprit before it's too late ... or will this be a Christmas to remember for all the wrong reasons?

Darlene Panzera writes sweet, fun-loving romance and is the winner of the "Make Your Dreams Come True Contest" sponsored by Avon Books, which led her novella, THE BET, to be published with Debbie Macomber's FAMILY AFFAIR. The full length novel, re-titled, BET YOU'LL MARRY ME, released December 2012 and her upcoming series, THE CUPCAKE DIARIES, releases May 2013 with subtitles: Sweet on You, Recipe for Love, and Taste of Romance.
"I love writing stories that help inspire people to laugh, value relationships, and pursue their dreams."
Born and raised in New Jersey, Darlene is now a resident of the Pacific Northwest where she lives with her husband and three children. When not writing she enjoys spending time with her family and her two horses, and loves camping, hiking, photography, and lazy days at the lake.

This was a really cute book! Once again, I love books that take place in a bakery/coffee shop! This one had a real nice but fun Christmas theme. And even though it was about three women I didn't have as much trouble keeping them apart like I usually do.
Very nice character development, I thought all the characters were believable. I even liked the kids that were in the story.
I also liked the cute cover, who doesn't like a cover with a cupcake?
This was a touching, fun, sexy (but not graphic) quick book to read for the holidays!
