I've been writing all my life, but started writing seriously almost 2 years ago, in that time completing 3 novels.
I'm an independent author - self-publishing my novels as eBooks only for the time being - born in the North East of England.
I now live in County Durham, spend almost every day thinking up new stories and creating new characters - and I love it! I just want to write stories that people want to read, and hopefully enjoy. Stories that give people the chance to escape everyday life and live in another world for a while. They're the kind of books I like to read, and they're the kind of books I like to write.

MY REVIEW -
A very nice Christmas read! I love books like this - a woman alone for one reason or another goes off someplace new to get her wrecked life back together. If something big happened in my life that's exactly what I would do, so I love reading books about women who do the same. I read a lot of books like this and I usually love them all.

This story takes place in the Finish Lapland and I have never read a book that took place there before. I also love reading books about new places.

This story was a tiny bit slow in spots, that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, A very pleasant book to read.
