All Things Hidden - Tracie Peterson & Kimberley Woodhouse (Review & Giveaway!)

5 Stars!!!

ABOUT THE BOOK -
Gwyn Hillerman loves being a nurse at her father's clinic on the beautiful Alaskan frontier. But family life has been rough ever since her mother left them, disdaining the uncivilized country and taking Gwyn's younger sister with her.

In Chicago, Dr. Jeremiah Vaughan finds his life suddenly turned upside down when his medical license is stripped away after an affluent patient dies. In a snowball effect, his fiance breaks their engagement. In an attempt to bury the past, Jeremiah accepts Dr. Hillerman's invitation to join his growing practice in the isolated Alaska Territory.

Gwyn and Jeremiah soon recognize a growing attraction to each other. But when rumors of Jeremiah's past begin to surface, they'll need more than love to face the threat of an uncertain future.

MY REVIEW -
This story, to me - was perfection. It had all the elements I love. Great characters, great storyline, suspenseful and interesting, great Christian values, lots of true historical facts, a little love story without the sex and a great ending!
And - I loved that this book took place in Alaska! I love reading books, especially books about the settlement of Alaska.

This is why I love historical fiction! It was very obvious that the authors did their homework and did lots of research for this book. I love reading a historical fic. book and feeling like I am learning something about American history. This was also a love story - hmm was it? Boy while reading it - it gets so suspenseful and exciting that you almost forget you are reading a love story!

Excellent character development! In the beginning there was a chapter to introduce each set of characters and I love when authors do this, This really gives you a chance to get to know them.
I loved Gwyn! She was such a sweet feisty little thing, you couldn't help but love her! She loved Alaska, loved her father and would do anything for him. She also loved the Alaska people and made them her own family.
Jeremiah - the hero of the story - sweet kind and hurting, in desperate need of love and acceptance.
Of course there were a few bad guys in there and boy were they bad! I almost wanna say I loved hating them - but I didn't, I just wanted them to go away!

I love Tracie Peterson and have read several of her books, anything she writes is excellent. Kimberley on the other hand is new to me! So it was nice getting to read a new author.

Thank you so much Bethany House Publishers for sending me this great book to read and review!
