Danger at Come-Alive Cottage - Wendy Unsworth (review & giveaway!)

  5 Stars!!!!!

ABOUT THE BOOK - This is book 2 in the series
When Aunt Kitty is sent a dragon's egg, she decides there is only one thing to do - hatch it! But to hatch a dragon's egg, a mother dragon is needed... and dragons breathe fire! This could spell danger for Come-alive Cottage. Luckily, Kellie Culpepper comes to the rescue! This is the second adventure for Kellie at Come-alive Cottage. All the Come-alives are here; the grumpy watering can and his friend the outside tap, the kind-hearted dish, the story-telling lampshade and many more! A fun, read-aloud chapter book.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR -
Wendy Unsworth was born and raised in Lincolnshire, England; her passions are her family, travel, beautiful gardens and reading and writing stories. Wendy lived in Ndola, Zambia and Nairobi, Kenya throughout the 1980's and early '90's before returning to the U.K. to acclimatise back to the English weather in a Cornish cottage close to Bodmin Moor! She is currently based in the north west of England. The African continent has left a lasting impression; The Palaver Tree, is set in a fictional Central African country and Cornwall. At present Wendy is working on her second novel, Beneathwood, re-introducing cameo characters from The Palaver Tree and telling their own individual story.

MY REVIEW -
Cute cute cute! I am so in-love with this series! The only way it could possibly be any better is if I had a grandchild to share it with! But that's not the authors fault. Someday...

This is like a paranormal book - for kids! It is so much fun to read these. I love books about magic. Kids love books about magic! Any child is going to love this series, there is just so much fun in them! There are really cute quirky characters and great descriptions. I think this would be a great read-a-loud book or a book an older child could read by themselves.

This is the second Come-Alive Cottage book I have reviewed. Read my review for Kellie At Come-Alive Cottage - HERE.
