Dancing With Fireflies - Denise Hunter (Kindle giveaway)

5 Stars (with a heart)!

ABOUT THE BOOK -
Journey back to Chapel Springs in the new Chapel Springs Romance book, Dancing with Fireflies.

Jade returns home to Chapel Springs after years of protecting her fragile heart. Then along comes Daniel, making her long to dance again.

Creative and complicated, Jade McKinley felt like a weed in a rose garden growing up in Chapel Springs. When she left, she thought she'd never look back. But now, pregnant, alone, and broke, she has no other choice but to return.

The mayor of Chapel Springs, Daniel Dawson, has been an honorary member of the McKinley family for years. While his own home life was almost non-existent, Daniel fit right into the boisterous McKinley family. He's loved Jade for years, but she always saw him as a big brother. Now that she's back, his feelings are stronger than ever.

As Jade attempts to settle in, nothing feels right. God seems far away, she's hiding secrets from her family, and she's strangely attracted to the man who's always called her "squirt." Finding her way home may prove more difficult than she imagined.

MY REVIEW -
LOOOOOVED! Did you ever have one of those months where you get to read two amazing books by two of your favorite authors? Well that just happened to me. First Lisa Wingate and now Denise Hunter - two of my "go-to" authors. This book got almost all 5 star reviews.

This book was sooo romantic! The kind that gives you goosies from the roots of your hair to the tips of your toenails, and brings tears to your eyes at the same time. It was a very sweet story and more than a few times I think I said "awwww" out loud.

Absolutely wonderful and very likeable, believable characters. I loved Jade, what a sweet, afraid but brave young woman. And, Daniel - what a sweetheart he was, the perfect knight in shining armor! I loved how this relationship slowly developed. This story certainly had all the makings of a great romance.

Here are a few great lines -
"Love had a way of taking you fast and sucking you into a delicious vortex of feelings. Then when you thought you were invincible, it grabbed you and held you down until your lungs burned. Until you could only wish for death." - such a sad thought :-(

"Besides, there's the glow."
"What glow?"
"The pregnancy glow. You have it"
"I do not."
He nudged her playfully, "You're practically a neon sign." - lol

If you like a good clean romance with no swearing and no sex, but lots of sparks - this is the book for you!

Thank you so much Litfuse for sending me this book to read and review!
