An April Bride, by Lenora Worth - 4 Stars!
War changes everything . . . even their love.
Bride-to-be Stella Carson can't wait to marry her longtime sweetheart Marshall Henderson. But Marshall has been away serving his country and has suffered a head wound. After being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, he has distanced himself from Stella, asking her not to visit him in a Washington, D.C., hospital. Marshall returns to Louisiana just four weeks before the wedding, but as the big day draws near, Stella wonders if the man she's loved for most of her life has become someone else.
Can true love conquer all for Stella and Marshall, even the tragedy of war?

~ Sweet, sweet sweet story! I really liked it. It was so nice how they never gave up on each other. I loved the character development - very nice personalities, very likeable! This was a nice, quick, romantic, easy read!

The Originals, by Cat Patrick - 5 Stars!
17-year-olds Lizzie, Ella, and Betsey Best grew up as identical triplets... until they discovered a shocking family secret. They're actually closer than sisters, they're clones. Hiding from a government agency that would expose them, the Best family appears to consist of a single mother with one daughter named Elizabeth. Lizzie, Ella, and Betsey take turns going to school, attending social engagements, and a group mindset has always been a de facto part of life...
Then Lizzie meets Sean Kelly, a guy who seems to see into her very soul. As their relationship develops, Lizzie realizes that she's not a carbon copy of her sisters; she's an individual with unique dreams and desires, and digging deeper into her background, Lizzie begins to dismantle the delicate balance of an unusual family that only science could have created.

~ This author never ceases to amaze me! This is my third by her ( Forgotten and Revived). Her writing is amazing. It is never boring. Her books are so creative! And this one does not disappoint! Excellent character development, edge-of-your-seat writing.
~ JUST READ IT!

Just Like Fate, by Cat Patrick & Suzanne Young - 4 Stars!
Caroline is at a crossroads.
Her grandmother is sick and, like the rest of her family, Caroline’s been at Gram’s beside since her stroke. With the pressure building, all Caroline wants to do is escape—both her family and the reality of Gram’s failing health. So when Caroline’s best friend offers to take her to a party one fateful Friday night, she must choose: stay by Gram’s side, or go to the party for a few hours.
The consequences of this one decision will split Caroline’s fate into two separate paths—and she is about to live them both.
Friendships are tested and family drama hits an all-new high as Caroline attempts to rebuild old relationships and even make a few new ones. If she stays, her longtime crush, Joel, might finally notice her, but if she goes, Chris, the charming college boy, might prove to be everything she’s ever wanted.
Though there are two distinct ways for her fate to unfold, there is only one happy ending…

~ OK it took me a while to figure out what the authors were doing in this book, kinda confusing at first. Once you got used to it, it did get better. This was like two stories at the same time - If she chose this ending - this is what would have happened, and if she chose that ending - thats what would have happened.
Mmmm not my favorite writing style, but it was still a good book and great story line.

Six Months Later, by Natalie D Richards - 3 Stars
She Has Everything She Ever Wanted. But Not Her Memory...
When Chloe fell asleep in study hall, it was the middle of May. When she wakes up, snow is on the ground and she can't remember the last six months of her life.
Before, she'd been a mediocre student. Now, she's on track for valedictorian and being recruited by Ivy League schools. Before, she never had a chance with super jock Blake. Now he's her boyfriend. Before, she and Maggie were inseparable. Now her best friend won't speak to her.
What happened to her? Remembering the truth could be more dangerous than she knows...

~ This book was highly recommended by a couple of bloggers and it got very good reviews on Amazon, but I am sorry to say it was just OK for me. Not bad, still a good read, but didn't blow me away. It was actually a little slow in the middle and repetitive for me, then all the action at the end. Great character development though! And a good read still.
