MY REVIEW -
This book is a little different than what I am used to in a smoothie book.
First it listed all the ingredients that you could possibly use in alphabetical order, explained what they are good for and why, how to store and prepare them. So that part was kind of interesting!
Then - she literally had a smoothie for every day of the year!
For example - Jan. 1 -
The Golden Banana -

May 19 (which is my birthday!) -
Apple Mint Aperitif (I don't think I would like this because I don't like mint in my drinks)

It is a very interesting concept for a smoothie book! Some recipes look better than others, but I am willing to try anything that doesn't have mushrooms or meat in it! Some that sound really good to me are Caramel Cream, Vanilla Orange, Tart Raspberry Vanilla, Coffee and Cream, and so many others.

The only thing I didn't like about the book is - no pictures! Now I am not sure if the version you buy has no pictures or if just my review e-book had no pics. but you all know how I feel about pictures in my cookbooks!

Thank you Netgalley and Harlequin for this awesome e-book to read and review!

ABOUT THE BOOK -
Take your craft to another level with this imaginative approach to crochet. More than just a manual on techniques or a pattern book, this guide shows how to transcend the use of traditional hooks, stitches, and yarns to produce truly innovative creations. A pioneering work in freeform crochet, the book is suitable for all ages and levels of expertise. It provides beginners with the chance to master basic stitches, and it offers advanced crocheters the opportunity to discover new ideas, colors, and designs.
More than 80 color photographs and 49 line drawings with captions illustrate everything from stitches to garment construction to finished products. A concluding section of practical information explains abbreviations and terms, and every chapter encourages the development of personal creativity and individual style.

MY REVIEW -
Again - this book was a little different than what I expected. There are lots of great interesting techniques in this book! I think this is a great book to keep and refer back to in a lot of your crochet projects. It is also a great book to learn the basics of crochet.
I am a very experienced crocheter. I thought the directions were excellent! There are pictures and diagrams for every stitch!

Unfortunately this book is all about "free-form" crochet, and while it is very interesting, it is not really my thing. However I did not rate it based on that. I still think this is an excellent book even if it is not "my thing".

If you want to try your hand at a new kind of craft - this may be just the thing for you!

Thank you Netgalley and Dover Publications for this e-book to rad and review!
