This is not just another recipe book. This book teaches you about the "super foods" - what are they? Why do we need them for our bodies? How to incorporate them into our meals. 

This book contains nice easy to follow charts, has lots of pictures, and great recipes! Also - my big pet peeve with recipe books... there is a picture for EVERY recipe!!! YAY!

What I loved about this book -
It is a teaching tool.
It is easy to read and easy to follow.
Each recipe lists what vitamins etc. it contains.
Each one also tells you how it benefits your body - I love this!
The only thing I wish was included is the calories. That seems to be the only thing missing for me.

Some of the recipes I liked are -
Choco smoothie - milk, banana, cocxoa, maca powdermflax seeds, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, rolled oats and honey

  1. Ooh I might have to add this one to the collection. Does it talk about also detoxing the body in a healthy way?

    1. It doesn't give you a detox plan, but gives you foods that help you detox.
      Hmm I do remember seeing a good detox book, but can't remember where I saw it.
      If I remember I will come back and tell you.
