ABOUT THE BOOK -
Just what the doctor ordered: heart-thumping suspense and intrigue, courtesy of Richard Mabry’s new medical drama, Medical Judgment.
Someone is after Dr. Sarah Gordon. They’ve stalked her and set a fire at her home. Trying to recover from the traumatic deaths of her husband and infant daughter is tough enough, but she has no idea what will come next. As the threats on her life continue to escalate, so do the questions: Who is doing this? Why are they after her? And with her only help being unreliable suitors in competition with each other, whom can she really trust?

MY THOUGHTS -
One thing I want to say right away - I would not have guessed that this was written by a man. The author did such a great job telling the story about Dr. Sarah Gordon. He really got her character just right. It was very heartfelt. You really get a feel for her personality - you get inside her head. I loved that she was vulnerable but strong willed , wanting to take care of herself and stand on her own two feet. I sometimes have a hard time reading books written by men because they don't seem to be able to get a woman's character right, but this was perfect!

A few things that I really liked about this book -
*It was kept to a small handful of main characters so it was easy to keep track of everyone. You didn't need a list to keep referring back to LOL.
*The author kept the plot fairly simple, not tons of sub-plots. He kept the story focused on the one suspenseful story line and I felt it was very easily drawn in right from the beginning. I had not trouble following the story even thought I did not have it all figured out... I did have my suspicions, but it wasn't till the end when the author let us in on the secrets did we really find out who and why.
*Lastly - I liked that every once in a while you would get a chapter from the predator's mind. So you knew what he was plotting and thinking.

This was a very suspenseful book, yet easy reading and easy to understand. A good clean fun read! This one is on the lighter side - if you like mysteries but are not a hard-core fan like me, this is the one for you.
