When God Made You - Matthew Paul Turner & David Catrow

5 Stars (but would give 10 if I could!)

ABOUT THE BOOK -
YOU, you… God thinks about you.
God was thinking of you long before your debut.

From early on, children are looking to discover their place in the world and longing to understand how their personalities, traits, and talents fit in. The assurance that they are deeply loved and a unique creation in our big universe is certain to help them spread their wings and fly.

Through playful, charming rhyme and vivid, fantastical illustrations, When God Made You inspires young readers to learn about their own special gifts and how they fit into God’s divine plan as they grow, explore, and begin to create for themselves.

‘Cause when God made YOU, somehow God knew
That the world needed someone exactly like you!

MY THOUGHTS -
Oh I just absolutely loved this book! This might just be my favorite children's book to date. The only problem was trying to decide which I loved more - the gorgeous, bright, adorable illustrations or the wonderful, lyrical, sweet story.

I could say that every child is going to want to read this over and over - but who am I kidding? I want to read it over and over!!!! When my grandchildren (future GC) go to pick a book of the shelf for me to read I am going to be begging them to choose this one!

Just look how adorable this is!!!

And my two favorite lines in the book -
Out of billions of faces from cultures, all races, people God made, from all different places.

A you who views others as sisters and brothers and lives by three words: love one another.
Wow, if only we could all live by those two lines! The world would definitely be a better place.

Get this book for your child, grandchild, niece or nephew... or do yourself a fovor and just get it for yourself!
