ABOUT THE AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR -

Tim Dowley (Ph.D. in church history, University of Manchester) has been at the forefront of writing and editing for a new generation of resources on biblical studies and church history.

Eira Reeves has been a children's author and illustrator for 30 years, with over 85 titles published, including educational activity books and Bible stories. She lives on the Isle of Wight.

MY THOUGHTS -
What a fantastic set of books! Each one hits the nail right on the head. I love that these are all in a nice hard box as a set. They are small enough for little hands. the pictures are simple, cute, and brightly colored for young eyes. I really don't see how these could be any better.

 I will take one book and break it down for you.
Would You Like to Know Jesus? 
It tells about Jesus being God's Son. How He was born to show us how to be friends with God. It tells how Jesus died for our sins and how they, even as young children, can talk to God by praying, and that they should ask forgiveness for their sins. The very last page has a Bible verse so you can help them look it up.

I just love this set - it's a great teaching tool. It says 3 - 5 yrs, but I would say for children ages 2 - 5. I don't think age two is too young to be learning about God and Jesus and these books are perfect.
