Romeo & Juliet Paper Dolls - Eileen Rudisill Miller

5 Stars!

ABOUT THE BOOK -
A vivid new paper doll collection pays tribute to the legendary star-crossed lovers
Shakespeare enthusiasts, paper doll collectors, and romantics will prize this charming homage to the Bard's famous sweethearts. Four dolls depict ardent Romeo, lovely Juliet, sympathetic Friar Laurence, and Juliet's jolly Nurse. Their wardrobe, consisting of 24 colorful and authentic Renaissance costumes plus accessories, is accompanied by quotations from the immortal play. In addition, the book's inside covers offer the perfect background: a rose-covered balcony.

MY THOUGHTS -
WOW! Love, love, love! I am so glad to see that paper dolls are not a thing of the past. I am a paper doll lover from WAY back. These are really beautiful and a nice big size. Beautiful bright colore and the clothes really are very pretty - very nicely drawn.

There are quite a few pages of clothes. It even includes Friar Laurence and Nurse and clothes for both of them.

These are all on a good quality light card stock. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that both the dolls and clothes are on the same weight card stock, it would have been better if the dolls were on heavier card stock. Everything else is just wonderful!

I really look forward to playing with these with my granddaughter!
