Michael Okon is an award-winning and best-selling author of multiple genres including paranormal, thriller, horror, action/adventure and self-help. He graduated from Long Island University with a degree in English, and then later received his MBA in business and finance. Coming from a family of writers, he has storytelling in his DNA. Michael has been writing from as far back as he can remember, his inspiration being his love for films and their impact on his life. From the time he saw The Goonies, he was hooked on the idea of entertaining people through unforgettable characters.
Michael is a lifelong movie buff, a music playlist aficionado, and a sucker for self-help books. He lives on the North Shore of Long Island with his wife and children.

MY THOUGHTS -
Wow, wow, wow! And I thought the last one was good. If the first book was 5 stars then this one should be 10 stars. This first book starts out the series with a monster theme park gone wrong (lots of crazy fun). But this book is the Monster Apocalypse! Wow, I just loved it. Definitely had a very post-Apocalyptic feel. This book was creepy, pretty graphic (which I love LOL) and oh so much fun!
A section of this book reminded me of the Mad Max movies that I was such a huge fan of! (I know I am dating myself here). If you don't know what they are - look them up, they're awesome!
And... I don't know how Michael did it - but amidst all the crazy/saving-the-world stuff he managed to add a little teen romance AWWWW! :-)
If you love The Goonies, The Walking Dead or Z-Nation - read this... its way better! If the first book didn't already do it for me - I am now an official fan. Can't wait to read the next in the series.
