MY THOUGHTS -
If its ghosts, creepiness, and lots of fun you are looking for - look no further!
I love a good ghost story, no matter how unrealistic it is and this one is pretty unrealistic. Now if you don't believe in ghosts you are thinking "Hmmm they are all unrealistic." But I do believe in ghosts. I guess that's why I love ghosts stories so much. This one is definitely full of lots of action!

This is not just a story about ghosts though.. it is a story of a family that is torn apart by abuse. It is rather sad in spots. I love the way Jamie stands up to his father (the abuser) to protect his mom (and himself). He is a very brave young man! Some might wonder why the mom stood for being a doormat for so long. You wouldn't understand unless you have been abused yourself.

Very good character development, even the ghost! LOL She definitely had a very strong personality.

This kind of has a false ending. Just when you think it is over... whoa - something even creepier starts to happen. I thought that part was a little over done - but still very good and I don't think I would change it because the actual ending was very good indeed!

So this book is definitely for those that like creepy, scary, and lots of ghosts action!

Pool Rating - 4 - if you like scary creepy stories by the pool - go for it. But I think this is more of an inside read until dark kind of book.
