MY THOUGHTS -
Hilarious and tons of fun!
I had so much fun reading through these zany letters. I loved that I actually knew about a third of the artists featured in here. Some of them were actually favorites of mine - Alannah Myles, Tears for Fears, The Eurythmics, Devo!!! Just to name a few.

The responses to letters written by Derek and Dave Philpott were sometimes so funny I had tears from giggling so much. But you know... it was kind of heartwarming as well. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy knowing that these singers/song writers that I had idolized for years all had such a great sense of humor! They were so willing to play along.

There were also a lot of singers and groups that I did not recognize. This actually made me want to look them all up and listen to the songs that they were referring to so I could better understand them. I have not started doing that yet, but I fully intend to. I think that will be almost as much fun as reading the book in the first place.

I think this is the kind of book that my son-in-law would love! I am thinking of buying a copy for him for Christmas. And I can totally see him looking up the artists and songs as well :-)

So well done! Thank you Philpotts and pop stars for entertaining us. This is a great gift idea or just buy one for yourself. But be prepared to laugh out loud!
