#SeasonToRead - Dec. 18th - Audio Book - with a GIVEAWAY!
With my very busy life I have really gotten into listening to audio books. I can do this while doing dishes, folding clothes, putting clothes away, making Christmas cards, rising my exercise bike, pretty much almost anything! Audio books and house work are very compatible!
But, I have never listened to a Christmas book!
So here is one of my favorite audio books (non-Christmas).
Excellent suspense book!!
Marissa Rooney stands in her daughter’s empty dorm room, a half-used vial of insulin clutched in her trembling hand. Brooke has been missing for days. Her roommate hasn’t seen her since that night in the bar. And if Marissa has Brooke’s insulin, it means that Brooke does not.
But Marissa isn’t alone in her terror. A phantom from her past is lurking in the shadows, waiting in the night, and holding her family captive… In the dark.
And a Christmas one I would love to listen to - Doesn't it sound great?
In this heartwarming feel-good novel, a snowstorm brings a cast of very different characters together at a sleepy New England inn, just in time for Christmas - and maybe even in time for a Christmas miracle.
A New England inn seems like the picture-perfect place to spend the holidays. But when a snowstorm shuts the roads and keeps them all inside, the guests find themselves worrying that this Christmas may not be exactly what they dreamed.
Molly just needs to keep her head down and finish her latest book, but her writer’s block is crippling. The arrival of Marcus, a handsome widower with two young girls, is exactly the distraction she doesn't need.
Hannah was hoping for a picturesque winter wedding, but her plans come crashing down when her fiancé calls everything off. She reconnects with her childhood friend, Luke, when he comes to check on his grandmother before the storm.
Jeanne and Tim don't know how they're going to keep the inn open another year - or how to bridge the distance between them in their marriage. With a flurry of unexpected guests, they'll have to work together to fix all the problems that crop up. But will it be enough to rekindle their relationship?
As the characters’ stories intertwine, they start to find hope where they thought it had been lost. With faith, and a little bit of Christmas magic, the inn - and its inhabitants - might just make it through the holidays after all.

The audiobooks sound enthralling and intriguing.
ReplyDeleteThe mystery audiobook is riveting. The Christmas story sounds extremely interesting and I like the different characters' stories.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried audiobooks before, but maybe I should to help my mood when doing chores. I wonder if yard work would go faster too.
ReplyDeleteOh Danielle I never used to use the either, but now I am hooked! It doesn't really make housework more fun, but it does make it go faster! LOL
