About the Author

Niki Milburn is a proud homeschooling mama, with a degree in elementary education. She loves Jesus, coffee, adventure, hiking with her family, and picture books! Niki grew up in Greencastle, Indiana but currently lives in the suburbs of Atlanta with her high school sweetheart Nate, their two boys—Miles and Maguire, an English Bulldog, and a rescue pup. MY THOUGHTS -

Fantastic book! I didn't have a print copy - mine was an e-book, which was just fine for me. If you are giving this to a child you might want a hard copy.

What I loved about it -

~ I loved all the scripture! An actual Bible verse ever other page. I love this. So many Christian book do not have Bible verses. I think this is so important. You can tell the children that this comes right from the Bible. Show them where it is and also read it from there.

~ I love that the author used so many different family members and friends! Besides mom and dad, she used grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins etc.

~ I loved all the cute colorful drawings. Very nicely done.

~ And, I loved that she took a verse and then within the context story explained what it meant in a child's world. Perfect!

This is a great teaching tool and a great book for discussion.

I loved this book and will definitely be reading it to my granddaughter!
