ABOUT THE AUTHOR -
DARK ENERGY, Return to Becker Circle, by Addison Brae is new and now available from Tirgearr Publishing. BECKER CIRCLE and DARK ENERGY are huge tributes to bartenders, bar managers, and servers--all superheroes!

Addison Brae lives in Dallas, Texas on the edge of downtown. As a child, she was constantly in trouble for hiding under the bed to read when she was supposed to be napping. She has been writing since childhood starting with diaries, letters, and short stories. She continues today with articles, video scripts, and other content as an independent marketing consultant.

Addison writes adult and new adult romantic suspense and contemporary young adult fiction. When she’s not writing, Addison spends her time traveling the world, collecting interesting cocktail recipes, and hosting parties. She’s still addicted to reading and enjoys jogging in her neighborhood park, sipping red wine, binge-watching TV series, vintage clothing, and hanging out with her artistic other half and their neurotic cat Lucy.

MY THOUGHTS -
This is the second book I have read by Addison. I loved the first one - Becker Circle and I loved this one! Both are fun, very suspenseful, with a great cast of characters.

Like the first book, this one takes place in a bar. Which (I don't hang out in bars but...) makes for a fun read. I love the "behind the scenes" look at running a bar. As well as what can go wrong. Not everything is perfect for Gillian (and Pinkie, the owner) but Gillian is a strong woman and handles it very well. She doesn't give up, she stays firm in her belief in Pinkie's innocence and fights for him, and the bar. I love Gillian. I do hope there are more books to this series. I'm not done with her yet LOL.

If you are looking for something exciting, suspenseful, with a bit of bar scene fun - this it it!!

I voluntarily posted this review after receiving a copy of this book from The author -  Thank You!!
