MY THOUGHTS -

My very first thought was - tropical island, bookshop... SCORE!!

Freya is a very likable character. I fell in love with her instantly. She had a very real, relatable, personality. Zander, the resort owner, seems perfect! But, is he too good to be true?

So... you see an advertisement for a job running a bookshop on a tropical island! Interested? What if you didn't have any real connections (besides friends) holding you back, now are you interested? Would you at least apply, just to see what happens? Hmmm, I would have to say - even though I am happily married - I probably would! LOL just to see...

Of course I love reading any book set on the beach, one of my favorite settings? This one was very well done. It took me away from my "just outside the city" home to this beautiful place with Freya as my friend. :-) A very needed (virtual) vacation for me! I love books that will "take you away" and this one did just that.

This ended up being a delightful read that offered a romance, fun, and  little excitement. This was a Kate Frost first for me and I would definitely read another!

I voluntarily posted this review after receiving a copy of this book from Rachel's Random Resources -  Thank You!!
