MY THOUGHTS -
This was such a good book! One of my biggest fears when my daughter was little was her being abducted! It was almost a phobia of mine. So, I felt every one of Alexa's tears, sorrows, fears, and regrets.
I want to say that I totally believed Alexa, and I did for most of the book. But I have to admit that even I started to doubt her. Although I did loved her and definitely felt for her. There was great character development all throughout the book. The other character I really liked was a reporter, Quinn (I started out hating her, but she redeemed herself). Doesn't everybody hate the reporters in the beginning? LOL
This was a very gut retching, sad and very real story. It was very well done. Kept me on the edge of my seat and wanting to read continuously till the end.
Of course I am not going to give away the ending, but... WOW! OK, now you have to read it!
Something I always do when I love a book is look up the author and see what other books they have out. She has a couple other books out that I definitely going to check out.
I highly recommend this page turner that felt all too real for me!
