An edge-of-your-seat psychological thriller that brings a unique mix of psychotherapy and sign language and Coda culture. Just when you think you have it figured out, think again!

As Ferro's narrative becomes more menacing, Reese finds herself wedged between the cold hard frame of professional ethics and the integrity of personal truth. MY THOUGHTS -

Do you know the kind of book where you are reading (or listening) and something keeps interrupting you making you stop? It makes you so angry because all you want to do is keep reading!?! Yeah, well this was that book! This was so good I just wanted to listen all day, but... life.

Edge of your seat writing. It got very intense at times the kind that makes you want to turn around and look behind you even if you are in the kitchen washing dishes. I loved the therapist/patient concept. It made for a very interesting story. I also love how the author broke it down into sections - The sessions, the notes, and her personal life at night. I thought this was great.

Audio - This one was read by the author herself. In an audio the voice can really make it or break it for me and I thought the author did a fine job!

The only thing I really didn't care for was the ending, or I should say the non-ending. The pre-ending was great, very intense. But it really had a non-ending, as I call them. It kind of made me wonder if there was more???

Since writing this review- I have been told by the author that there will be a sequel!! So now the “non-ending“ makes perfect sense! So excited for the sequel!

All-in-all a great read - or listen!

  1. Thank you so much for your review. I'm so glad you enjoyed THE NINTH SESSION. Yes, the ending was left open ended to leave room for the sequel. But I appreciate your take on things ;)
