The Vanishing of Class 3B - Jackie Kabler

Woohoo! 5 Stars!

ABOUT THE BOOK -

One spring morning, a bus full of children and their teachers from a Cotswolds primary school head off on a much-anticipated day trip.

But as night falls and the well-heeled parents – one or two of them famous, as well as wealthy – wait at the school to collect their weary offspring, it soon becomes clear that something has gone very wrong.

The children and their teachers simply do not come back.

What’s happened doesn’t seem possible.

How can an entire class of children simply vanish?

MY THOUGHTS -

Wow! Once you read this book you will be looking up everything this author has written, and that is exactly what I did! And she has written quite a few.

This was such a great book. I loved it from beginning to end. It was very suspenseful. Kept me reading at the edge of my seat. And, yes, I was surprised at the end. I suspected lots of people throughout the book, but was wrong every time.

In this one, everyone is a suspect. Everyone has secrets... all kinds of secrets. But are they enough for them to kidnap a busload of kids and teachers?

I loved how the author took you through all the parents, their lives, what they were feeling, and of course - their secrets, being told in multiple point of view. Also while showing what was happening with the kidnapped children and their teachers.

I thought this was very unique and very well done. I will definitely read more by this "new to me" author.

Highly recommended!
