MY THOUGHTS -
Oh my goodness, to be honest, I'm not even sure how to go about reviewing a book like this.
Was it good - yes, great even! But it is so full of sadness, and also sometimes very disturbing. The story and the characters (especially the two young, underage girls) were so real. I was way too invested in their lives. This is definitely a book that will stay with me in my head for a long while.
This is definitely a book that made me want to write out a cast of characters. There are a lot of people to keep track of and it was a bit confusing for me at first. It took me a while to figure out and remember who everyone was and how they connected to each other. Once I had that down then the story really started to flow a lot better and I started enjoying it more.
While this book was hard to read at times due to the content - It was also extremely hard to put it down.
*Content warning - swearing, drugs and alcohol, under age sex, rape, and abuse
I voluntarily posted this review after receiving a copy of this book from Rachel's Random Resources - Thank You!!
