ABOUT THE AUTHOR :

Susan Furlong grew up in North Dakota where she spent long winters at her local library scouring the shelves for mysteries to read. Now, she lives in Illinois with her husband and children and writes mysteries of all types. She has over a dozen published novels and her work has earned a spot in the New York Times list of top crime fiction books of the year. When not writing, she volunteers at her church and spends time hiking and fishing.

 MY THOUGHTS:

This was a surprising combination of "Very sweet" and "Holy cow action"! The action and suspense started right away and never gave up! Every page just made you want to turn to the next. And I say very sweet because the two main characters, Emma Hayes and Logan Greer are both wonderful.

In this character (and action) driven story Emma and Logan are just fantastic together. Both of them missing someone. Both of them searching for answers. Both of them a little leery, but driven together. Their slow developing relationship seemed very realistic.

This is a heartfelt, heart pounding, edge of your seat romantic suspense you won't want to miss. You could read it in one day, but take your time to truly enjoy this one.

ALWAYS a great book from this author. I will read everything she comes out with.
