MY THOUGHTS -

I’m so excited that this was my first book of ‘26! I am not new to this author. I read a couple of book series by her years ago and really liked them. When I saw she had a brand new series coming out that was touring I jumped on it!

I loved the two main characters, Keely and Dawson, just loved them! Keely is freaking adorable! My heart was breaking for her situation (her past). I don't want to give any thing away, so I will just leave it at that. Then I soon also grew to love the supporting characters, Wren, Griffin, River, just to name a few. I may actually have liked River just as much as Keely. 

Heroes come in many different shapes and sizes, and genders. Keely was a hero in her own way. The best possible kind. Unlikely at first but she stepped up to every single thing that was thrown at her. She had to face demons of her past. And had to make VERY difficult decisions. She had strength in times that a lot of people would’ve just given up. And Dawson, Hoowee what a leading man he was! Hott, strong, loving, caring and protective! A total dreamboat lol! But what I loved most was how supportive he was of Keely and whatever choices Keely made about her future. In a way, he added to her strength.

Keely keeps joking throughout the book that this isn't a Hallmark movie. But honestly, it totally could be! This is the kind of book that you want to just curl up with under a blanket, coffee in had and read all day.

And just when you think the story is wrapping up… that’s when the real story begins. When Keely's past comes colliding with her present. I felt like this book ripped my heart out, shredded it into tiny pieces, glued it together again, and handed it back to me. Whew!

CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK IN THIS SERIES!
